CAT 2026 registration will close tomorrow, September 22, at 5 PM. Candidates who have not yet submitted their Common Admission Test application form can complete the process through the official CAT website, iimcat.ac.in. IIM Indore had earlier set September 15 as the registration deadline but later extended it by one week. Current reports indicate that the revised September 22 deadline is final. IIM Indore is conducting CAT 2026 for admission to management programmes at the IIMs and other participating institutions. Candidates who wish to appear for the exam must complete the registration, application submission and fee payment within the prescribed deadline.

CAT 2026 Registration Deadline Tomorrow at 5 PM

The CAT 2026 registration last date is September 22, 2026, at 5 PM. Candidates should not wait until the final hours to submit their applications, particularly because the registration process requires entering academic and personal details, uploading documents, selecting test cities and completing online fee payment. The registration window was originally scheduled to close on September 15. IIM Indore subsequently extended the deadline to September 22.

CAT 2026 Important Dates

CAT 2026 is scheduled to be conducted on November 29 in three sessions across approximately 170 test cities.

CAT 2026 Application Fee

The CAT 2026 application fee is reported as ₹2,700 for General, EWS and NC-OBC candidates, while SC, ST and PwD candidates have to pay ₹1,350. After registration closes, IIM Indore is expected to provide a limited application edit facility for candidates who have successfully submitted their forms. Current reports indicate that the edit window will allow changes to selected details, including the photograph, signature and test-city preferences. It should not be treated as an opportunity to completely revise the application form. Candidates should therefore check their application carefully before submitting it on September 22.
