The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has released the AP LAWCET 2026 Phase 2 seat allotment result. Candidates can download their allotment order by following these steps:
- Visit cap.apcfss.in or cets.apsche.ap.gov.in
- Click on the AP LAWCET 2026 Admissions link
- Log in using your username and password (or registration number, hall ticket number, and date of birth)
- Locate the Phase 2 seat allotment result link on the dashboard
- Verify your allotted college, course, and category details
- Download and print the allotment order
Candidates should retain multiple copies of the allotment order. This document is mandatory at the time of college reporting.
Two-Step Reporting Process: Self-Reporting and College Reporting
AP LAWCET Phase 2 reporting involves two mandatory steps. Completing only one will not confirm admission.
Step 1: Self-Reporting (Online)
Candidates must log in to the counselling portal and complete the self-reporting formalities. This signals acceptance of the allotted seat and initiates the admission process.
Step 2: Physical Reporting at Allotted College
Candidates must visit their allotted law college in person with original documents and photocopies. The college principal will verify certificates and issue a joining report. Admission is confirmed only after this physical verification is complete.
Both steps must be completed by November 7, 2026. Candidates who complete self-reporting but fail to report physically at the college will lose the seat.
Documents Required for AP LAWCET College Reporting
Candidates should carry originals and one set of photocopies of the following documents:
- AP LAWCET 2026 Phase 2 allotment order printout
- AP LAWCET rank card and hall ticket
- Class 10 marks memo (date of birth proof)
- Intermediate or 10+2 marks memo (for 5-year LLB applicants)
- Degree marksheets and provisional certificate (for 3-year LLB and LLM applicants)
- Transfer Certificate (TC) from last attended institution
- Study certificates (Class 9 onwards, or as applicable)
- Caste certificate (if applicable)
- Income certificate (if applicable, for fee reimbursement)
- Local status/residence certificate (if applicable)
- Aadhaar card or other valid photo identity
- Recent passport-size photographs
- Fee payment receipt from Phase 2 registration
Candidates should check their allotted college's instructions for any additional documents required.
What Happens If You Miss the November 7 Deadline
The reporting deadline is strict. Candidates who fail to complete both self-reporting and physical college reporting by November 7, 2026, will have their allotted seat cancelled. The seat will return to the pool for institutional spot admissions.
There is no provision for late reporting in this phase. Candidates unable to report should plan to participate in spot admissions instead.
What's Next: Spot Admissions for Remaining Seats
After November 7, colleges will upload details of leftover vacancies to APSCHE. A college-wise vacancy list across participating law colleges will be published on cap.apcfss.in.
Candidates who did not receive a seat in Phase 2, or who choose not to report, can apply directly to their preferred law colleges during spot admission dates announced by individual institutions.
Important: Candidates securing admission through spot rounds are not eligible for government tuition fee reimbursement and must pay the full tuition fee.
