CLAT 2027 Registration Deadline Extended to 7 November: Dates, Fee and How to Apply

The Consortium of National Law Universities has extended the CLAT 2027 registration and application deadline to Saturday, 7 November 2026. Candidates can register, fill out the form, and pay the fee until 11:59 PM that day through consortiumofnlus.ac.in. The rest of the process remains unchanged.
The Consortium will announce the application correction dates later on its official website.

The same Consortium extended the deadline last year, moving it from 31 October to 7 November 2025.

The fee is payable online only, by net banking, credit card or debit card. Applications without the fee are not accepted.
How to apply for CLAT 2027
- Register: go to consortiumofnlus.ac.in and register with a mobile number and email ID.
- Verify: confirm both through the OTPs sent. Each candidate then receives a unique CLAT registration number.
- Fill the form: complete the personal, academic, and professional details sections.
- Pay and submit: pay the fee for your category online.
Registration is the first stage. The application is complete only after the fee is paid.
About CLAT
NLUs offer 5-year integrated LLB and 1-year LLM programmes through CLAT, which is conducted every year by the Consortium of NLUs.
What candidates should do now?
- Apply before 11:59 PM on 7 November rather than waiting for the last hour.
