The authority has not announced a registration date extension as of October 28, 2026. Candidates should not assume an extension will be granted.
Web Options Entry: What Candidates Must Do
Candidates who have completed registration can exercise web options at cap.apcfss.in from October 28 to October 30, 2026. The process involves:
- Logging in with Hall Ticket Number and Date of Birth.
- Selecting 3-year LLB or 5-year LLB from the CET dropdown.
- Entering college and course preferences in order of priority.
- Selecting as many options as possible to maximise allotment chances.
- Saving and locking the options before the October 30 deadline.
Editing window: Candidates can modify their web options on October 31, 2026, after which no changes will be permitted.
A submitted preference does not guarantee allotment to that college. The final result depends on rank, preferences, reservation rules, and available vacancies.
Seat Distribution by Institution Type
The AP LAWCET Phase 2 notification specifies different Convenor (Category A) and Management (Category B) quota percentages based on institution type:
| Institution Type | Convenor Quota (Category A) | Management Quota (Category B) |
|---|---|---|
| University colleges | 100% | Not specified |
| Affiliated unaided professional colleges | 80% | 20% |
| Private universities | 35% | 65% |
These percentages represent the distribution in the official notification. They do not indicate the number of vacant seats available during Phase 2. Candidates should check the portal for college-wise details.
The centralised web counselling process covers the applicable Convenor Quota seats. Management Quota seats are not allotted through this counselling process.
