Candidates can check their allotment on the official website, tneaonline.org. Students allotted a college must report to their assigned institution by 5:00 PM on August 13, 2026. The Round 2 tentative allotment was released on August 7, 2026. Candidates were allowed to confirm their tentative allotment between August 7 and August 8. The provisional allotment order was released on August 9, 2026, and college reporting is currently underway. Candidates can access the TNEA portal using their registered email address and password. The candidate login page is available at tneaonline.org/user/login. Candidates who failed to confirm their tentative allotment within the specified period had their seats automatically cancelled. The confirmation and reporting timings are from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Choice Options in TNEA Round 2

DoTE has provided four options to candidates allotted seats in Round 2. Each option determines whether candidates can participate in subsequent counselling rounds.

1. Accept: Confirm the allotted seat and proceed with admission to the assigned college.
2. Accept and Upward: Retain the allotted seat while remaining eligible for an upgrade in the next round.
3. Decline and Upward: Reject the current seat and continue participating in the subsequent counselling rounds.
4. Decline and Quit: Reject the allotted seat and withdraw from the TNEA 2026 counselling process.

How to Download TNEA 2026 Round 2 Allotment Order

Candidates can follow these steps to check and download their provisional allotment order:

1. Visit the official TNEA portal at tneaonline.org.
2. Click on the Candidate Login link.
3. Enter the registered email ID and password.
4. Open the Round 2 Allotment section from the dashboard.
5. Check the allotted college and branch.
6. Download and print the allotment order for college reporting.

Documents Required at the Allotted College

Candidates should carry the original documents along with one set of photocopies for verification during admission.

1. TNEA Round 2 provisional allotment order printout
2. Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets and pass certificates
3. Transfer Certificate and Conduct Certificate
4. Community, Nativity and Income Certificates, wherever applicable
5. Aadhaar Card
6. Recent passport-size photographs

Action Plan for Candidates

2. Download and print the provisional allotment order.
3. Arrange all original certificates and photocopies in advance.
4. Pay the tuition fee as instructed by the allotted college.
