What Comes After Choice Filling
Round 1 seat allotment results are expected on August 17, 2026. Candidates who receive an offer must download their allotment letter and report to the allotted college by August 22 to confirm admission. Those not satisfied with their allotment can wait for upgrades in subsequent rounds, subject to seat availability.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
MCC has flagged a few recurring errors candidates should watch out for — missing the registration deadline, filling too few college choices, forgetting to lock choices, ignoring the seat matrix and previous cutoffs, missing the reporting deadline, and confusing MCC counselling with state-level counselling, which are separate, parallel processes.
Candidates are advised to keep checking mcc.nic.in regularly for updates on seat allotment, reporting instructions, and any changes to the schedule.
