The State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET Cell), Maharashtra, has issued a final reminder: fresh registration for newly eligible candidates for B.Sc Nursing 2026 closes tonight, November 6, 2026, at 11:59 PM. This is the last opportunity for candidates who became eligible under the revised zero-percentile criteria to secure a nursing seat for the 2026-27 academic session .
The registration window was opened following approval from the Indian Nursing Council (INC) to relax the qualifying percentile to zero across General, General PwD, SC, ST, and OBC categories. The decision was taken to fill vacant seats in nursing colleges across Maharashtra. However, previously registered candidates are not permitted to register again through this facility .
Critical: Registration alone does not guarantee admission. Candidates must complete fee payment by November 7, 5:00 PM and upload all required documents by November 7, 11:59 PM to be considered for the Institutional Level Round 2—the final admission round for this academic year .

Candidates who were previously ineligible because they did not meet the minimum percentile requirement can now register, provided they have not already registered for MH BSc Nursing CET 2026 counselling. All other eligibility conditions specified in the information brochure continue to apply .

What Happens After Registration: Institutional Round 2
Once registration, fee payment, and document upload are complete, eligible candidates can apply directly to colleges for Institutional Level Round 2. This round is being conducted for seats that remained vacant after the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) rounds .
Key steps for Institutional Round 2:
November 7: Seat matrix and provisional eligible list published.
November 8–10 (until 5:30 PM): Submit application forms directly to respective colleges in the prescribed format.
November 10 (by 6:30 PM): General Merit List and Selection List 1 published.
November 11–12: Physical joining for Selection List 1.
November 12 (by 6:30 PM): Selection List 2 published.
November 13–14: Physical joining for Selection List 2 .
Note: The final admission cut-off for all B.Sc Nursing admissions in Maharashtra is November 15, 2026. The INC has stated that no further extension will be granted beyond this date .
Who Is NOT Eligible for This Round
Candidates in the following categories are explicitly ineligible for fresh registration and Institutional Round 2:
Previously registered candidates: Anyone who completed registration in earlier CAP rounds cannot register again. This includes candidates who registered but did not secure a seat .
Candidates holding a seat: Anyone who was holding a nursing seat as of October 27, 2026, 5:30 PM, or was admitted in Institutional Round 1, is not eligible to participate in this round. Their names will not appear in the eligible candidates list .

- Complete the fresh registration and session application.
- Pay the registration fee through the online payment gateway before November 7, 5:00 PM.
- Upload colour scanned copies of all required original documents.
- Click Submit before November 7, 11:59 PM.
- Download and save the confirmation for your records.
