The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) is expected to release the KCET 2026 results after June 1, 2026, as stated by Dr. M.C. Sudhakar, the Higher Education Minister of Karnataka. However, the results will not be available before the Agriculture & Veterinary practical test, which is taking place at the Hiriyur Centre on June 1, 2026. It is important to note that a re-test for the Agriculture & Veterinary exam was held on May 24, 2026, due to an incident of malpractice. This re-examination has caused a delay in announcing the results, which is expected to take about one or two extra days.

KCET 2026 Scorecard How to Download Once Is it announced?
Candidates can check their KCET 2026 results on the official KEA websites, which are cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea and kea.kar.nic.in. To view their scorecards, they need to enter their application number along with the first four letters of their name. It is important for candidates to have their KCET admit card, Aadhaar card, and marks cards from Class 10 and Class 12 exams ready. They should also prepare copies of all necessary documents, such as caste certificates, if applicable.
KCET 2026 Counseling Procedure
After the results are released, candidates who pass the entrance exam will be eligible for counseling.
They can register using their CET application number. The counselling process includes steps like document verification, option selection, mock seat allocation, and seat allotment in different rounds. Candidates interested in applying for agricultural science courses should know that admission will be based on scores from the Agricultural University Exam. KEA has started working with the Agricultural University to handle this process.
Next Steps for Students
Students can now begin creating their college and course preference lists by looking at the cut-off trends from last year. It's important for them to research thoroughly about the colleges, courses, and branches they are interested in before finalising their preferences. A mock allotment will allow students to understand the admission process better without affecting their real admission. After the mock allotment, students will have the opportunity to change their preferences before the first round of actual allotment begins. Counselling is expected to start after the results are announced, usually during the second week of June. This will include registration and verification of documents. Following this, there will be multiple rounds of seat allotment and confirmation of seats, and students will need to attend the college they are allotted.
