|---|---|
| Round 1 | August 2, 2026 |

| Round 3 | August 24, 2026 |

MAH CET CAP 2026 is being conducted across four rounds, with seats allotted on the basis of MAH CET 2026 cutoffs. The fourth and final round will be based on seats remaining vacant after Round 3 admissions are completed.
Seat Acceptance and Reporting Window
Candidates allotted an MBA/MMS seat in Round 3 must:
- Accept the seat online on the CAP portal.
- Visit the allotted college to complete admission formalities between August 25 and August 27, 2026.
Those receiving a seat allotment for the first time in Round 3 are required to pay the acceptance fee at this stage.
Seat Confirmation Fee
| Particulars | Amount |
|---|---|
| Seat confirmation/freeze fee | INR 1,000 |
| Applicable to | All candidates confirming their seat |
| Mode of payment | Online, via the CAP portal |
The fee must be paid online at the time of freezing (confirming) the allotted seat.
Freeze vs Betterment Option
Candidates allotted a seat in Round 3 have two choices:
- Freeze the seat – Accept and confirm the allotted seat by paying the fee. Once frozen, the candidate becomes ineligible for Round 4.
- Opt for "not freeze/betterment" – Provisionally hold the current seat while remaining eligible to participate in Round 4 for a potentially better allotment.
Candidates should note that accepting a seat in any round makes them ineligible for the subsequent round, so this choice needs to be made carefully based on individual preference and satisfaction with the current allotment.
Why This Matters
Round 3 is the second-to-last opportunity in the MAH MBA CAP 2026 admission cycle before the final round scheduled for September 3. Candidates satisfied with their allotted college and course can lock in their seat now, while those hoping for a better option still have the betterment route available without losing their current seat outright.
