The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has begun online verification of uploaded certificates for AP ICET 2026 web counselling. Candidates who have already uploaded their certificates will receive their verification status shortly, while special category candidates will need to visit designated helpline centres for physical document verification. The certificate verification process will continue until September 1, 2026, and forms a key step before web option entry for admission under Convenor quota seats in Andhra Pradesh.
Verification Categories and Process
| Candidate Status | Action Required |
|---|---|
| Verified online, no changes needed | No need to visit a Help Line Centre; can proceed directly to option entry |
| Verified online but needs corrections | Visit nearest HLC with original certificates and 3 sets of photocopies |
| Verified online but marked "not eligible" | Visit nearest HLC with original certificates and 2 sets of photocopies |
| Special category (PWD, CAP, NCC, Sports & Games, Scouts & Guides, Anglo-Indian) | Must report physically; verification is not done online |
Special Category Verification Details
Candidates under PWD, CAP, NCC, Sports & Games, Scouts & Guides, and Anglo-Indian categories cannot be verified online and must report in person at:
- Venue: Government Polytechnic, Near Benz Circle, Vijayawada, Krishna District
- Dates: August 31 and September 1, 2026
- Documents: All original certificates along with four sets of photocopies
Documents Required for AP ICET Counselling
Candidates must have the following ready for verification:
- AP ICET 2026 Hall Ticket
- AP ICET Rank Card 2026
- SSC marks memo
- Intermediate marks memo
- Degree consolidated marks memo
- Degree provisional/OD certificate
- Study certificates from Class 9/10 up to Degree
- Transfer Certificate
- Applicable caste, income, EWS, or residence certificates
Scanning and Re-upload Guidelines
- Certificates must be scanned clearly and uploaded in PDF format.
- If a document is found invalid or unclear, the candidate will get a message asking for re-upload.
- The re-upload facility is available only once, so candidates should ensure clarity and correctness before submitting.
What Happens After Verification
Once certificates are verified, candidates can proceed to the web options entry stage, where they select their preferred colleges and courses. AP ICET web option entry is scheduled to run from August 27, 2026, to September 2, 2026.
Why This Matters
Certificate verification is a mandatory checkpoint before candidates can exercise their college and course preferences. Any mismatch, missing document, or unresolved eligibility issue at this stage can delay or block a candidate's participation in web options, making it important to check verification status promptly and act within the given window, especially for special category candidates who have only two specific reporting dates.
Quick Recap
- Certificate verification window: Ongoing till September 1, 2026
- Special category physical verification: August 31 & September 1, 2026, at Government Polytechnic, Vijayawada
- Re-upload facility: Available only once
- Web option entry: August 27 to September 2, 2026
Candidates are advised to regularly check their verification status on the AP ICET counselling portal and keep all original documents and photocopies ready in case a helpline centre visit becomes necessary.
