Jharkhand NEET PG Merit List 2026 Out: Objection Deadline Today at 5 PM, Check Eligible and Ineligible Lists

Published 28 Oct 20265 min read

The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) released the provisional Round 1 state merit list for Jharkhand NEET PG 2026 counselling on October 27, 2026. Candidates who find discrepancies in the merit list or whose names appear on the ineligible list must submit objections with supporting documents by 5 PM on October 28, 2026, via email to controller.jceceb@gmail.com.
The merit list covers state-quota MD, MS, PG Diploma, and DNB seats for the 2026–27 academic session . Candidates named on the merit list are eligible for choice filling and seat allotment in Round 1.

What Was Released
JCECEB published two documents on the Download section of jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in:
Provisional State Merit List — contains state rank (CML Rank), name, NEET PG roll number, category, Jharkhand domicile status, and NEET percentile .
Provisional Not-Eligible List — names candidates found ineligible for MD, MS, Diploma, or DNB admission under Jharkhand state quota .
Candidates should check both lists carefully. A name on the ineligible list does not automatically mean the candidate cannot be considered — if the candidate believes they meet all criteria, they can object before the deadline .
Objection Process: How and Where to Submit
Candidates who need to correct their merit list entry or contest their ineligible status must follow this process:
Prepare a written representation clearly stating the error and the correct information.
Attach supporting documents — NEET PG scorecard, admit card, category certificate, domicile proof, or any document that substantiates the claim .
Email the representation and documents to controller.jceceb@gmail.com with a clear subject line, for example: "NEET PG 2026 Merit List Objection – [Your Roll Number]" .
Submit before 5 PM on October 28, 2026. Objections received after the deadline or through other channels will not be accepted .
Corrections will be processed according to Clause 3 of JCECEB Advertisement No. JCECEB/65/26-103 dated October 16, 2026 .
What the Merit List Contains

The merit list PDF is a multi-page table sorted by CML Rank. Candidates can search for their name or roll number using Ctrl+F .
Understanding the Ineligible List and Remarks
Candidates marked with certain remarks on the merit list or placed on the ineligible list may have specific corrective actions available:

| Caste Certificate is of C.O. Level | Certificate issued by Competent Officer, not S.D.O./D.C. level | Upgrade to S.D.O./D.C. level by November 1, 2026, or lose category benefit |
| Income Certificate in place of Income and Assets Certificate | EWS claim not valid | Treated as General; no EWS benefit |
| Acknowledgement slip instead of Category Certificate | Caste certificate not submitted | Treated as General |
Candidates with C.O.-level certificates must obtain upgraded certificates from the S.D.O. or D.C. office by November 1, 2026, to retain category reservation benefits in Round 1 .
