Who Can Attend the Verification Round?

They will have another chance in Round 2 counselling. If an allotted candidate fails to report on time, they will lose their seat permanently. The vacated seat will be added to the pool for the next round. This makes it very important for all allotted candidates to report on time.

Documents Required at the Nodal Centre

Candidates must bring originals and two sets of self-attested photocopies of the following documents:

• Printout of the provisional seat allotment letter
• BCECE 2026 rank card and admit card
• Class 10 mark sheet and certificate
• Class 12 mark sheet and certificate
• Category certificate, if applicable
• Bihar domicile certificate, if claiming state quota
• Aadhaar card or other valid photo ID
• Four recent passport-sized photographs

What Happens During Document Verification and Admission?

At the nodal centre, each original document will be checked against the counselling records. Candidates then pay the seat acceptance fee online. The final admission slip is given only after the fee is paid. Candidates who want a better seat can choose to upgrade. They will keep the current seat until the next round. Those who withdraw at this stage will no longer be part of the counselling process.

How Is the Seat Acceptance Fee Paid?

The seat acceptance fee must be paid online. Acceptable payment methods include net banking, debit card, credit card, and UPI. The exact fee depends on the allotted college and course. Candidates must keep a copy of the fee receipt and show it at the nodal center. Cash is not accepted at the verification counter. A printed copy of the receipt is also needed for record-keeping.

How Does BCECE 2026 Counselling Work After Round 1?

The counselling process includes multiple rounds until all seats are filled. The board will hold Round 2 for upgradation and new allotment. A mop-up or spot round may occur if there are still vacant seats. Candidates should keep the portal open during the entire counselling period.
