AP AYUSH UG Provisional Merit List 2026 Released; Grievances Open Till Sept 25

Dr NTR University of Health Sciences (Dr NTRUHS) has released the AP AYUSH UG 2026–27 provisional merit position for admission to BAMS, BHMS and BUMS courses under the Competent Authority Quota (CQ). The provisional list was published on September 23, 2026 on the official university portal. The official merit list contains 1,576 candidates and has been prepared after verification of uploaded certificates based on qualifying NEET UG 2026 performance and applicable eligibility conditions. Candidates who find discrepancies in specified details can submit grievances through their application login until 11:00 AM on September 25, 2026. Importantly, the current Competent Authority Quota merit list covers BAMS, BHMS and BUMS. The official 2026–27 notification does not include BNYS in this particular merit-list process.

Which Details Can Candidates Raise a Grievance About?

The official merit-list instructions specifically mention grievances regarding:

• Gender
• Category
• Local Area
• Minority status

Candidates must submit proper documentary evidence supporting the correction. The article should therefore avoid suggesting that NEET scores, ranks or other official examination data can automatically be changed through the same grievance process unless Dr NTRUHS specifically permits it.

1,576 Candidates Included in the Provisional Merit Position

The official provisional merit-position PDF runs from serial number 1 to 1,576. The final entry appears on page 46 of the document, which is dated September 23, 2026. The merit position is provisional. The university's detailed notification states that State Merit position is prepared on the basis of NEET UG 2026 score and rank along with other eligibility criteria, after scrutiny of uploaded certificates.

Separate Lists Released for Pending Documents and Ineligible Candidates

Dr NTRUHS has released multiple candidate-status lists alongside the provisional merit list.

Candidates With Pending Certificate Verification

The university has listed 26 candidates whose certificate verification remains pending due to missing or inadequate relevant documents. They have been given until 11 AM on September 25 to upload the required documents through their respective login IDs.

Registration Fee Paid but Application Not Submitted

A separate list contains 26 candidates who paid the registration fee but did not complete submission of their application with the required documents. Their candidature could not be verified for the merit list, and the university has given them until 11 AM on September 25 to complete the required upload.

Not-Eligible Candidates

Dr NTRUHS has also published a list of five candidates marked not eligible after verification of uploaded certificates. The stated reason in each case is failure to secure the minimum cut-off marks under the applicable regulations.

Which Courses Does the AP AYUSH CQ Merit List Cover?

The official Dr NTRUHS admission notification covers:

• BAMS — Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery
• BHMS — Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery
• BUMS — Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery

The notification covers Competent Authority Quota seats in eligible Government and private unaided non-minority AYUSH colleges affiliated to Dr NTRUHS. BNYS should not be included in this specific merit-list article, because the current official CQ admission notification and provisional merit-list heading do not list BNYS.

When Will the AP AYUSH Final Merit List 2026 Be Released?

Dr NTRUHS has not announced a specific final-merit-list date yet. The university states that the final merit position will be released after addressing grievances received from candidates. Candidates should therefore monitor the university website after the September 25 grievance deadline.

What Happens After the AP AYUSH Final Merit List?

The next major stage will be the web-options/counselling process. Dr NTRUHS states that candidates should refer to the university website for a subsequent notification containing the schedule for exercising web options.

Candidates should therefore:

• resolve any eligible merit-list discrepancy before September 25, 11 AM;
• complete required pending-document uploads if applicable;
• wait for the final merit position;
• check the university website for the web-options notification;
• review the seat matrix and counselling rules before entering college preferences.
