The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, has confirmed that the final date to register for the MAH-LLB 3-Yrs CET 2026 is February 28, 2026. This follows a second extension aimed at accommodating students who were awaiting their final semester results or experiencing delays with the mandatory APAAR ID generation. Over 74,000 candidates are expected to compete for approximately 16,240 seats in law colleges across the state.

New Mandatory Requirements for 2026
This year, the registration process has introduced digital-first initiatives that are mandatory for all applicants:
- APAAR ID & DigiLocker: Candidates must generate their Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry (APAAR) ID via DigiLocker. The application portal (cetcell.mahacet.org) requires this for seamless verification.
- Aadhaar Authentication: Real-time Aadhaar-linked OTP verification is now a standard part of the "New Candidate Registration" to prevent fraudulent entries.
Application Fee & Eligibility
- Open/General/OMS Category: ₹1000
- Reserved Categories (SC/ST/OBC/VJNT from Maharashtra): ₹800
- Qualification: A graduate degree in any faculty with minimum aggregate marks of 45% (General), 42% (OBC), or 40% (SC/ST). There is no upper age limit for this course.
