Woxsen University Scholar's Round 2026-27 Open; Check MBA Deadline and Scholarship
Published 19 Sept 20264 min read
Woxsen University has opened its Scholar's Round for the 2026-27 admission cycle, offering selected candidates an additional 10% merit scholarship over and above the regular scholarship. The university's official website lists November 14, 2026 as the deadline for the MBA Scholar's Round.
Candidates seeking the additional scholarship must have submitted their accepted entrance-test scorecard and completed the Personal Interview (PI) round. Woxsen states that candidates selected based on their composite score will be informed if they qualify for the additional 10% scholarship.
The university's regular scholarship structure provides merit scholarships of up to 50% of tuition fees, while eligible student-athletes can receive sports scholarships of up to 100% of tuition fees.
Woxsen University MBA Scholar's Round Deadline
For the MBA programme, the Scholar's Round started on September 3, 2026, and the application deadline is November 14, 2026. Woxsen's official MBA programme pages carry the same deadline.
| Event | MBA Scholar's Round |
|---|---|
| Round begins | September 3, 2026 |
| Application deadline | November 14, 2026 |
| Additional scholarship | 10% over regular scholarship |
| Commitment fee deadline | December 14, 2026 |
Candidates who receive an offer carrying the additional 10% scholarship must pay the commitment fee by December 14, 2026. Woxsen states that missing this payment deadline will cause the additional scholarship to lapse and the application to be treated as regular admission.
What Does Woxsen's Additional 10% Scholarship Offer?
The Scholar's Round provides an additional 10% merit scholarship over the regular scholarship to candidates selected under the round.
Woxsen's broader scholarship policy includes:
- Merit-Based Scholarship: Up to 50% of tuition fees for eligible UG and PG candidates.
- Sports Scholarship: Up to 100% of tuition fees for eligible student-athletes.
- Scholarships are evaluated using academic performance, entrance-test scores and the candidate's overall profile.
The additional 10% benefit is therefore separate from the university's regular scholarship structure.
Who Is Eligible for the Scholar's Round?
For the additional Scholar's Round benefit, Woxsen states that candidates must have:
- Submitted their entrance-test scorecard.
- Completed the Personal Interview (PI) round.
- Been selected on the basis of the university's composite score.
The accepted entrance examinations vary by programme. For example, Woxsen's current MBA pages list WAT, CAT, NMAT, XAT, GMAT and GRE among accepted tests for its MBA programmes.
Candidates should therefore check the eligibility page for their specific programme before assuming that a particular entrance examination is accepted.
Woxsen University 2026-27 Application: What Candidates Should Do
Candidates interested in the Scholar's Round should complete the admission process early because the additional scholarship depends on completing the required stages and receiving an eligible offer.
The general process involves:
- Registering through the Woxsen application portal - applications.woxsen.edu.in.
- Completing the admission application.
- Submitting the relevant academic and entrance-test details.
- Providing the required entrance-test scorecard.
- Completing the Personal Interview.
- Waiting for the admission decision and scholarship information.
- Paying the applicable commitment fee within the deadline if an offer carrying the additional scholarship is received.
Woxsen's official scholarship information says that scholarship availability is limited and is awarded on a first-come, first-served basis during the relevant application cycle.
UG and Other PG Deadlines Need Confirmation
The source article states that most UG and other PG Scholar's Round applications close on December 1, 2026. However, Woxsen's current official scholarship page does not support that claim for the listed UG programmes. It currently shows several UG programmes under Regular Admission Round (8) with a July 22, 2026 submission deadline.
Therefore, candidates applying to B.Tech, BBA, B.Des, BCA, B.Sc, B.Arch, BA or other non-MBA programmes should check their individual Woxsen programme page for the applicable 2026–27 deadline.
What Happens After the Scholar's Round Selection?
Candidates who receive an offer with the additional 10% scholarship must complete the next admission step by paying the commitment fee within the deadline specified by Woxsen.
For MBA candidates, the official deadline is December 14, 2026. If the payment is not made by that date, Woxsen states that the additional 10% scholarship will no longer remain valid and the application will be treated as regular admission.
Candidates should therefore track both the application deadline and the commitment-fee deadline rather than treating selection in the Scholar's Round as the final admission step.
