NID DAT 2027 Application Fee

The application fee varies by category and programme. For B.Des and 5.5-year Integrated M.Des programmes:

The fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. Candidates applying for multiple disciplines under regular M.Des must pay the applicable fee for each discipline .

Final Checks Before Submitting NID DAT Application

Before clicking the final submit button, candidates should verify the following:

Personal Details: Full name must match exactly as printed on the Class 10/SSC/SSLC marksheet. Check date of birth and gender carefully. These fields cannot be edited later .

Contact Information: Provide an active personal email address and mobile number. NID uses these for all admission-related communications. Ensure the email is valid for at least one year .

Programme Selection: Confirm you have selected the correct programme (B.Des / Integrated M.Des / regular M.Des). The programme choice cannot be changed after registration .

Category Selection: Verify your reservation category (General, EWS, OBC-NCL, SC, ST, or PwD). Category changes during the correction window may require additional fee payment, with no refund for excess fees .

Document Uploads: Upload the photograph, signature, and supporting certificates in the prescribed format and specifications.

NID DAT 2027 Eligibility (Brief Overview)

For B.Des and Integrated M.Des programmes:

Age: General category candidates must be born on or after July 1, 2006. OBC-NCL/SC/ST: on or after July 1, 2003. PwD: on or after July 1, 2001 .

Education: Passed or appearing for 10+2 (or equivalent) in any discipline from a recognised board.

For regular M.Des programmes:

Age: General category candidates must be born on or after July 1, 1995. OBC-NCL/SC/ST: on or after July 1, 1992. PwD: on or after July 1, 1990 .

Education: Bachelor's degree of minimum four years' duration or equivalent.

How to Complete NID DAT 2027 Registration

1. Visit admissions.nid.edu and select the programme.
2. Click on the registration/sign-up option.
3. Enter required details, including nationality, category, and date of birth.
4. Provide an active email address and mobile number.
5. Complete OTP verification.
6. Log in with registered credentials.
7. Fill in personal and educational details.
8. Upload photograph, signature, and certificates.
9. Pay the application fee.
10. Download and save the confirmation page.

What Happens After Submission

The application correction window will open from December 1 to 3, 2026. Candidates can edit certain fields (excluding programme, name, date of birth, registered email, and mobile number). Admit cards for DAT Prelims will be available for download from December 10, 2026 . The DAT Prelims exam on December 20, 2026, will be common for all NIDs, and scores will be used solely for shortlisting candidates for DAT Mains .
