VITREE 2025 PhD Exam on Dec 7: Admit Card Available Now
The Vellore Institute of Technology Research Entrance Examination (VITREE) 2025 for PhD program will be conducted on 07.12.2024
Vellore Institute of Technology, VIT has released VIT Research Entrance Examination (VITREE) scheduled for today, December 7, 2024. Admit card was declared on 5 December 2024. Download the admit card now. The e-admit cards can be downloaded from the official University website, that is www.vit.ac.in. The exam is conducted annually across 28 cities in India and this year there are many options to sit for the test.
Exam Details
The VITREE exam will be conducted from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM, which took averagely two hours. The question paper will only comprise of MCQs and will be set for one hundred questions in overall sense. For Ph.D. candidates, the breakdown includes:
- Technical Questions: 70
- English Communication Skills: 15
- Statistics and Probability: 15
For those applying for Direct Ph.D. programs, the structure is slightly different:
- Technical Questions: 80
- English Communication Skills: 20
All questions will be in English and each section shall contain MCQs, one mark for right answer and no penalty for wrong answer.
Downloading the Admit Card
To download the admit card, candidates should follow these steps:
- Go to the official VITREE page by typing in the web address of the VIT University at www.vit.ac.in.
- Just enter your registered email address and password to sign into Just Dial.
- The admit card can be seen and downloaded through the candidate’s personal dashboard.
A electronic admit card is issued to each candidate and it is important that candidates should take a printout of it as original admit card is required at the examination hall. If the admit card does not contain the candidate photo and signature then the candidate also has to produce any photo ID proof like Aadhar card, PAN Card, Driving Licence etc and passport size photograph.
Selection Process
The selection process for VITREE includes several components:
- Passing of the VITREE examination
- The most personal and academic achievements from previous obtained degrees
- Research proposal evaluation
- A personal interview has been arranged for the 14th of the December in the year 2024.
The result shall be declared on 20th December, 2024 and major timelines like choosing research guide and payment of tuition fees by 31st December,2024.
