The Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) has officially launched the registration process for the Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE) 2026. This national-level entrance test is the mandatory gateway for admission into the B.Tech programs offered at VIT campuses in Vellore, Chennai, AP (Amaravati), and Bhopal.

The application window is now active on the official portal (viteee.vit.ac.in). For the 2026 session, VIT has introduced significant updates to the exam pattern, including a revised marking scheme that now incorporates negative marking, making strategic preparation more critical than ever for aspiring engineers.

The VITEEE 2026 will be conducted as a Computer-Based Test (CBT) across various cities in India and abroad. Candidates are advised to complete their applications well before the March deadline.
