How to Check the UP NEET UG Round 1 Result
- Go to the official website, upneet.gov.in.

- Click the link for the Round 1 allotted candidate/result.
- Select "UG (NEET MBBS/BDS)" from the course dropdown.
- Enter your NEET roll number and NEET application number.
- Enter the security captcha shown on screen and submit.
- Your allotment status — including allotted college and course — will display on screen.
- Download and save the result, then print the allotment letter separately.
Candidates can also check allotment status college-wise: from the homepage, select "Seat Info," then "Allotted and Vacant Seat," then "NEET UG Counselling 2026" and "Institute-wise allotted candidates," and select the relevant institute.
What the Allotment Result Shows
The Round 1 list is prepared based on each candidate's NEET merit rank, category, seat availability, and the choices submitted during counselling. Candidates should check the following details carefully on their result:
- Allotted course — MBBS or BDS
- Name of the allotted medical or dental college
- Category and quota under which the seat was allotted
- Candidate details
- Reporting and admission instructions
- Documents required for admission
- Fee payment requirements
Reporting Deadline: What Happens Next
Candidates allotted a seat must download their allotment letter and report to the allotted institution between September 8 and September 14, 2026, along with the required original documents and admission fee — this window wasn't specified in the result notice itself but is confirmed across the DGME UP counselling schedule. Missing this window typically risks forfeiture of the allotted seat and any security deposit paid at registration, so candidates should plan document collection and travel well in advance rather than waiting until the final day.
Documents to Carry While Reporting
Based on DGME UP's standard requirements for admission confirmation, candidates should carry originals plus self-attested photocopies of:
- The downloaded allotment letter
- NEET UG 2026 admit card
- NEET UG 2026 scorecard
- Class 10 mark sheet and certificate
- Class 12 mark sheet and certificate
- Category certificate, where applicable
- Any other document specified in the individual allotment letter
Candidates should confirm the exact list against their own allotment letter, since specific requirements can vary slightly by college and category.
Round 2: What's Known So Far
DGME UP has not yet announced Round 2 dates. Candidates who don't receive a seat in Round 1 — or who are eligible to participate in later rounds under the applicable rules — should keep monitoring upneet.gov.in for the Round 2 schedule, updated vacancy figures, and the fresh choice-filling window once it opens.
