Counselling fee and security deposit
CGDME’s notice lists separate charges for state-quota and private-college participation. For a first application to government state-quota seats, the counselling fee is ₹2,000, and the security deposit is ₹20,000. The corresponding figures shown for subsequent participation are ₹1,000 and ₹10,000.
For private-college seats, the first-time counselling fee is ₹10,000 for unreserved candidates and ₹5,000 for reserved-category candidates. The notice lists a ₹2 lakh first-time security deposit for private seats, including the NRI category. Lower subsequent-participation amounts are shown separately. Candidates should consult the official fee table before paying because the applicable amount depends on seat type, category and participation stage.
How to complete Round 1 registration
- Open the CGDME counselling website.
- Select the Round 1 registration and choice-filling service for PG MD/MS counselling.
- Enter the required NEET PG and candidate details accurately.
- Pay the applicable counselling fee and security deposit within the payment window.
- Fill college and subject choices after checking the current seat matrix.
- Reorder and lock the final choices between 2 PM and 11:59 PM on October 27.
- Download or save the confirmation page for your records.
The notice also asks candidates claiming an NRI quota seat to report for document verification at the Directorate of Medical Education in Nava Raipur by 5 PM on October 27. They must follow the NRI eligibility and document requirements in the applicable rules.
Check the seat matrix carefully
The official matrix is organised by institute, subject, quota and category. Candidates should not rely on a single statewide number because availability differs across government, private and DNB routes. Check the row for the exact college and specialty before locking a preference.
Read the official online-application notice and the Round 1 seat matrix before submitting choices. Candidates should revisit the portal for corrigenda or revised dates instead of depending on an older saved copy. For further verified admission updates, follow Only Education News.
