UCEED 2027 Registration Closes October 31: Fee, Late Fee, Steps and Application Link

After you activate your account from the email link, enter your personal details (name, date of birth, gender, and mobile number) and set a password to secure your applicant account.

• Photograph: use a clear, recent photo in which your face fills most of the frame. Avoid tiny or badly cropped images.
• Signature: sign fully on white paper and scan it so the whole signature is clearly visible.
• PDF certificates: upload clear, readable scans. Blurry files may be rejected.

Enter your name exactly as on your Class 12 certificate. If it differs, keep a Gazette notification ready.

UCEED 2027 uploads: photo up to 100 KB, signature up to 50 KB, PDFs up to 500 KB.

Choose three UCEED 2027 exam cities in order of preference. They can’t be changed after submission, and your first choice isn’t guaranteed.

Upload your photo, signature, proof of age and qualifying certificate, plus a category certificate if you apply under a category. Missing files may get your form rejected.

Photo: JPEG, 5-100 KB, face filling most of the frame. Signature: JPEG, 5-50 KB. Other formats or sizes may be rejected.

Upload clear, readable PDFs of your certificates (30-500 KB each). Check every file before submitting.

Candidates applying before the October 31 deadline should keep these documents ready:

• Photograph: a recent colour photograph in JPEG (.jpg) format, 5 KB to 100 KB
• Signature: a scanned full signature on white paper in JPEG (.jpg) format, 2 KB to 50 KB
• Qualifying exam certificate (PDF): needed if the candidate appeared for the qualifying exam in 2023 or before
• Date of birth proof (PDF): an SSC certificate, passport, or birth certificate
• Provisional certificate (PDF): a certificate from the school or college principal, for candidates appearing for the 2027 board exams
• If applicable: a category certificate from the competent authority, and a gazette notification if the name differs from the Class 12 certificate

There is no application correction window after submission, so check every file before submitting.

Candidates must upload a scanned copy of their full signature on white paper. Only JPEG format with the .jpg extension is accepted, and the file must be between 2 KB and 50 KB. The signature should be clear and legible, and candidates should check the file before uploading. There is no application correction window after submission

The last date to register for UCEED 2027 with the regular fee is October 31, 2026. Candidates who have not applied yet should submit the online application at uceed.iitb.ac.in before 11:59 PM that day. Those who miss it can still register between November 1 and November 6, 2026, by paying a late fee of ₹500 for Indian nationals and US$ 50 for certain foreign nationals.

Candidates must upload their documents in the format and size set for the UCEED 2027 application form:

Candidates must upload a recent colour photograph with the UCEED 2027 application. The photograph must be in JPG format and should be a clear, recent image with the full face visible. It should be taken within the last six months. Candidates should use a front-facing photo with the head centred in the frame and make sure the file meets the size limits shown on the upload page of the portal, uceed.iitb.ac.in.

I couldn’t confirm two things from your text for the 2027 form:

• File size (5 KB to 100 KB): the sources I found don’t give a UCEED 2027 size limit.
• Head covering 70-80% of the photo: this wasn’t confirmed either.

The UCEED 2027 registration fee depends on nationality and category.

The foreign national rates also apply to OCI/PIO cardholders whose cards were issued on or after March 4, 2021. Cardholders with cards issued before that date pay ₹2,000 (female and PwD candidates) or ₹4,000 (others). A late fee of ₹500 applies to Indian nationals and US$ 50 to certain foreign nationals who register between November 1 and November 6, 2026.

The fee is paid as the last step of the online application. Candidates should follow these steps:

1. Register on uceed.iitb.ac.in, fill in the application form, and upload the documents.
2. Select the correct category and nationality in the form, as the fee depends on them.
3. After the final submission, you are redirected to the registration fee payment section.
4. Pay online through net banking, credit card, or debit card.
5. After the payment succeeds, download the submitted application form for your records.
Registration fees are neither refundable nor transferable, and they do not include bank service or processing charges.

Foreign nationals from non-SAARC countries, including OCI/PIO cardholders whose cards were issued on or after March 4, 2021, pay US$250 (Rs. 24,000) as the UCEED 2027 application fee. The fee is paid online during registration. A late fee of US$ 50 applies to these foreign nationals if they register after October 31, 2026. The fee is neither refundable nor transferable.

Foreign nationals, including OCI/PIO cardholders whose cards were issued on or after March 4, 2021, pay US$200 (about ₹19,200) if applying from a SAARC country. Those applying from a non-SAARC country pay US$250. The fee is paid online during registration. A late fee of US$ 50 applies to these foreign nationals if they register after October 31, 2026. The fee is neither refundable nor transferable.

SC, ST and PwD candidates pay INR 2,000 as the UCEED 2027 application fee. The fee is paid online and must be paid before the form is submitted. Registration with the regular fee closes on October 31, 2026, and a late fee of ₹500 applies until November 6, 2026, 5:00 PM.

Female candidates of all categories pay INR 2,000 as the UCEED 2027 application fee. The fee is paid online through the registration portal at uceed.iitb.ac.in. Registration with the regular fee closes on October 31, 2026, and a late fee of ₹500 applies until November 6, 2026, at 5:00 PM.

A candidate can attempt UCEED 2027 a maximum of two times, in consecutive years. Candidates must also pass Class 12 or an equivalent exam in 2026 or 2027.

Female candidates of all categories and SC/ST/PwD candidates pay INR 2,000 as the UCEED 2027 application fee. All other candidates pay INR 4,000. The fee is paid online at the time of registration.

Male candidates in the Open category pay INR 4,000 as the UCEED 2027 application fee. Female candidates of all categories, and SC/ST/PwD candidates, pay INR 2,000. The fee is paid online when submitting the form, and candidates should keep the receipt for reference. Registration with the regular fee closes on October 31, 2026. A late fee of ₹500 applies until November 6, 2026.

Candidates should not expect an “Edit Application” option on uceed.iitb.ac.in. There is no option to edit the UCEED application form once it is submitted, and there is no application edit window. Candidates should check all details and uploads before submitting. The only later fix is the admit card discrepancy window, which ends on January 8, 2027, at 5:00 PM. Candidates should check the official portal for updates.

IIT Bombay’s application information states that there is no application correction window after submission, so candidates should check all details and uploads before submitting. Registration with the regular fee closes on October 31, 2026, and with the late fee on November 6, 2026, at 5:00 PM. The only fix available later is the admit card discrepancy window, which ends on January 8, 2027. Candidates should check uceed.iitb.ac.in for any updates.

Keep these ready before filling in the UCEED 2027 form: a recent photograph and signature (JPG), proof of age (PDF), and the qualifying exam document. Category and PwD documents are needed only if applicable. There is no application correction window after submission, so check every detail and upload before you submit. The last date to register with the regular fee is October 31, 2026.
