The TS EAMCET 2026 application portal is seeing a major surge in student registrations following the February 19 launch. Candidates must submit their forms by April 4 to avoid late fees for engineering and pharmacy courses.

The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) has reported a massive spike in activity on the official registration portal for the TS EAMCET 2026 (now known as TG EAPCET). Since the application link was activated on February 19, thousands of students have successfully submitted their forms. As of today, February 23, 2026, the portal is handling high traffic as students from across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh rush to secure their spot for the upcoming entrance test.

The TS EAMCET is a state-level exam that allows students to get into professional colleges for Engineering, Agriculture, and Pharmacy. This year, the exam is being organized by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH). Officials have noted that the number of submissions in the first five days has been much higher than last year. This increase is likely because more students are interested in new technology courses like Artificial Intelligence and Data Science.

Important Dates and Deadline Reminders

While the portal is currently very busy, students have plenty of time to finish their work. The last date to apply without paying any extra fine is April 4, 2026. However, if you miss this date, you can still apply by paying a late fee. The late fee starts at 250 and can go as high as 10,000 if you wait until the very last week in May.

  • Correction Window: If you make a mistake in your form, the board will allow you to fix it between April 6 and April 8, 2026.
  • Exam Dates: The Agriculture and Pharmacy exams are set for May 4 and 5, while the Engineering test will happen from May 9 to 11, 2026.
  • Hall Tickets: You can download your admit cards from the official EAPCET website starting April 23.

The government has made sure that the registration process is simple. Students need to have their 10th-grade marks, Aadhaar card, and a recent photo ready before they start. It is also important to have a valid mobile number because all updates about the exam will be sent via SMS.

How to Avoid Common Application Mistakes

Because there are so many submissions happening at once, the website can sometimes become slow. To ensure your application is successful, experts suggest filling out the form during "off-peak" hours, such as early in the morning or late at night.

  1. Fee Payment first: You must pay the fee before you can fill out the rest of the form. The fee is 900 for general students and 500 for SC/ST students.
  2. Check the Stream: Make sure you select the correct "Stream." Choose 'E' for Engineering or 'AP' for Agriculture and Pharmacy. If you want to do both, there is a different fee.
  3. Photo Quality: Your photo must be clear and not blurry. If the face is not visible, your application might get rejected.

The National Informatics Centre (NIC), which manages the technical side of the portal, has added more servers this year. This is to make sure that the website does not crash even when thousands of people are using it at the same time. If your payment fails but the money is gone from your bank, the council advises waiting for 24 hours before trying again.

Conclusion: A Bright Future for Students

In conclusion, the high number of submissions for the TS EAMCET 2026 shows how much students value professional education in Telangana. The TGCHE is committed to making the process fair and transparent for everyone. By applying early, you can avoid the stress of late fees and technical glitches.

  • Prepare Well: Now that your registration is moving forward, you should start using the official mock tests available on the website to practice.
  • Stay Alert: Keep checking your email for the "Confirmation Page" which proves that your form has been accepted.
  • Contact Support: If you have any trouble, you can call the helpdesk numbers listed on the council's homepage.

This entrance test is the first big step toward a successful career in science and technology. With the right preparation and a timely application, you are well on your way to reaching your goals.
