For thousands of M.Tech and M.Pharm aspirants in Andhra Pradesh, today is a pivotal day as the web option entry window for the second phase of AP PGECET 2025 counselling https://cets.apsche.ap.gov.in/ is set to close. The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has announced that September 14, 2025, is the absolute final deadline for eligible candidates to select their preferred colleges and courses. This is a critical step that will determine their college admission for the upcoming academic year.

Aspirants who have completed their document verification for this phase must immediately proceed to fill and save their choices online. Given that this is one of the final phases of counselling, students are advised to enter as many options as possible to maximize their chances of securing a seat.

Key Steps and What's Next

The AP PGECET 2025 admission process is designed to be seamless, but it requires candidates to be proactive and pay close attention to deadlines.

  1. Enter Your Choices: Candidates must log in to the official portal using their credentials to fill in their college and course preferences. This is the stage where candidates can decide on their final order of preference.
  2. Saving vs. Freezing Options: It is essential to understand the difference between saving and freezing your choices. While candidates can save their preferences throughout the process, the final submission requires them to "freeze" their options. While a window for changes is available tomorrow, September 15, 2025, freezing them today can provide peace of mind. The last saved choices will be considered if the options are not frozen.
  3. Seat Allotment: The seat allotment results for this second and final phase of counselling are scheduled to be released on September 26, 2025. Candidates will be able to download their provisional allotment letter from the official website.
  4. Reporting to Colleges: The final step, self-joining and physical reporting at the allotted colleges, is set to take place from September 26 to September 29, 2025. This is when candidates will complete their document verification and pay the remaining tuition fees to confirm their B.Tech admission.

Why This Deadline is Critical

Missing the web option entry deadline will result in the candidate not being considered for seat allotment in this phase, regardless of their rank or eligibility. Since this is the last significant round of counselling for AP PGECET 2025, there may not be another opportunity to get a seat through the centralized admission process. For this reason, every eligible student must exercise their options without fail.
