SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) has officially initiated the registration process for the SRMJEEE PG 2026, the key entrance examination for admission into its diverse range of M.Tech (Master of Technology) programs. The application process, which began on November 2, 2025, is now live on the official website, srmist.edu.in, and will be conducted in an entirely online mode across three distinct phases, offering flexibility to postgraduate engineering aspirants.

Key Dates and Multi-Phase Examination Structure

The SRMJEEE PG 2026 is a multi-phase entrance test, allowing candidates to attempt the exam up to three times, with the best score considered for admission. This structure is designed to minimize pressure and maximize chances for aspirants. The entire examination will be conducted through the Remote Proctored Online Mode (RPOM), enabling students to take the test remotely.

Here are the crucial dates for the three phases:

Phase IMarch 9, 2026March 14, 2026
Phase IIMay 11, 2026May 16, 2026

The application fee for each phase is approximately ₹1400 and is non-refundable. Candidates must pay the fee separately for each phase they wish to attempt. The exam will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions and will be conducted for a duration of 150 minutes (2.5 hours), covering relevant engineering subject matter.

Eligibility and Application Process Details

Eligibility Criteria:

Aspirants seeking admission to the M.Tech programs must hold a B.Tech or B.E. degree in a relevant discipline from a recognized university. A minimum qualifying percentage, typically ranging from 50% to 60% aggregate marks (depending on the course applied for), is required. Final-year students are also eligible to apply. Notably, candidates with a valid GATE or TANCET score may also be considered, although the primary merit list is based on the SRMJEEE PG score.

The application process involves a few simple, sequential steps:

  1. Registration: Visit srmist.edu.in and register with a valid email ID and mobile number.
  2. Form Filling: Complete the detailed application form with accurate personal, academic, and contact information.
