IIM Ahmedabad wraps up final placements with completion of Cluster 3
The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIM-A) has completed Cluster 3 of its final placement process for the PGP Class of 2024. This cluster saw participation from major recruiters like Tata Steel, NPCI, Jio Financial Services, and BNP Paribas across various sectors including BFSI, fintech, and logistics. New entrants such as Waree joined this year, reflecting a broader range of job roles. Ankur Sinha, the chairperson of placements, noted an increase in both recruiter participation and job role diversity despite a challenging job market.

Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad has wrapped up Cluster 3 of its final placement process for the PGP Class of 2024, which saw participation of recruiters including Tata Steel, NPCI, Jio Financial Services, Newgen Software Tech, Javis, BNP Paribas, Axis Bank and S&P Global, the institute said in a statement on Tuesday.
Cluster 3 comprised firms across eight cohorts including BFSI, analytics & IT consulting, core manufacturing & infrastructure, renewable energy & greentech, government enterprises, enterprise tech, fintech and logistics. Many new recruiters participated this year across cohorts, including Waree and Jio Financial Services.
“Even in a tough year for the job market, IIM-A saw a large number of recruiters participating in the placement process,” said Ankur Sinha, chairperson of placements at IIM-A. “This year as well we saw an increase in the participation of firms and also the variety in job roles was higher.”
