The Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) have officially commenced the registration process for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2025. The application window, hosted on the official website iimcat.ac.in, will remain open for just over a month. IIM Kozhikode, the coordinating IIM for this year's exam, has urged all candidates to complete their registration well before the deadline to avoid last-minute issues.

The exam will be a computer-based test conducted in three separate sessions on November 30, 2025, across approximately 170 test cities in India.

Step-by-Step Registration Process:

1. New Candidate Registration: Visit iimcat.ac.in and click on the "New Candidate Registration" link. Provide your name, date of birth, mobile number, and a valid email address to receive your login credentials.
2. Fill the Application Form: Log in with the generated credentials. Carefully fill in all personal, academic, and work experience details.
3. Choose Programs and Test Cities: Select the IIM programs you wish to be considered for and choose up to six preferred test cities in order of preference.
4. Upload Documents: Upload a recent passport-sized photograph and a scanned signature, ensuring they meet the specified size and format. Candidates from reserved categories (SC, ST, PwD) or those with work experience must also upload their respective certificates.
5. Pay Application Fee: Pay the non-refundable application fee online. The fee is ₹2,600 for General and NC-OBC candidates and ₹1,300 for SC, ST, and PwD candidates. The payment can be made via credit/debit card, net banking, or other online payment gateways.
