CUET-PG Law 2025 Scorecards Out Since May; University Admissions Underway
The CUET-PG Law 2025 scorecards were released on May 6. Law aspirants should now focus on individual university counselling and merit lists for admission to LL.M. programs.

Contrary to recent speculation, the National Testing Agency (NTA) released the scorecards for the Common University Entrance Test for Postgraduate (CUET-PG) Law 2025 on May 6, 2025. This means that for thousands of law aspirants, the admission process is now well into its final stages, with counselling and seat allocation being conducted by individual participating universities.
Aspirants who appeared for the CUET-PG Law exam (LL.M. and other law courses) should have already downloaded their scorecards and are now actively participating in the admission procedures of the universities they applied for. The NTA's role was confined to conducting the exam and publishing the results; the subsequent counselling and merit lists are handled directly by each university.
What to Do Now if You Have Your Scorecard:
The scorecards are the gateway to the next phase. Now, candidates must focus on the individual university admission portals. There is no centralized counselling for CUET-PG. Aspirants must take the following steps:
- University-Specific Registrations: Check the official websites of the universities you are interested in (e.g., Delhi University, Banaras Hindu University, etc.). Many would have a specific counselling registration portal where you need to register and submit your CUET-PG scores.
- Merit Lists: Based on the submitted scores, each university will prepare and release its own merit list. The cut-off marks for admission can vary significantly between institutions.
- Document Verification: Be prepared for online or offline document verification. Have all your academic transcripts, caste certificates, and the CUET-PG scorecard ready.
How to Download Your Scorecard (for those who have not yet):
For any aspirants who may have missed the announcement and have not yet downloaded their scorecard, the process is straightforward:
- Visit the official CUET-PG website: exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-PG/
- Log in using your application number and password or date of birth.
- The scorecard will be available for download. It is highly recommended to take multiple printouts for future reference during the admission and document verification processes.
With the admission season drawing to a close, a timely and proactive approach is essential. Aspirants must regularly check the official websites of their chosen universities and be ready to meet all deadlines for a successful admission to the 2025-26 academic session.
