Eligibility and Participation:

All JEE Main 2025 qualified candidates are eligible to participate in the CSAB Special Rounds, irrespective of whether they participated in JoSAA counselling or not. However, a fresh online registration on the CSAB portal (csab.nic.in) is mandatory for all interested candidates. JoSAA registrations and choices will not be carried forward.

Candidates who:

• Did not get a seat in JoSAA rounds.
• Got a seat in JoSAA but withdrew or had their seat cancelled.
• Want to upgrade their JoSAA allotted seat.
• Are participating in counselling for the first time. are eligible to apply.

A non-refundable special round participation fee of ₹45,000 for General/OBC/EWS and ₹19,000 for SC/ST/PwD categories (including a ₹5,000 processing fee) will be applicable.

Category Restoration and Important Guidelines:

Candidates whose category (OBC-NCL/GEN-EWS/SC/ST) or PwD status was changed to General/No during JoSAA document verification due to invalid certificates, but have now acquired a valid certificate, had a limited window (July 24-25) to request category restoration through the CSAB portal. They must ensure their category is restored before proceeding with CSAB registration.
