On April 23, 2025, the Delhi High Court delivered its long-awaited verdict on multiple petitions challenging the CLAT UG 2025 results. The division bench, comprising Chief Justice Devendra Kumar Upadhyaya and Justice Tushar Rao Gedela, directed the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) to revise the undergraduate results, republish corrected marksheets, and renotify the final list of selected candidates within four weeks.

The court accepted certain objections raised by candidates regarding errors in the official answer key, including flawed questions that impacted scores and rankings. However, objections filed beyond the stipulated window period were rejected. The bench emphasized the need for transparency and fairness in the admission process and urged the Consortium to ensure improved question-setting standards in future exams.

The CLAT 2025 exam was conducted on December 1, 2024, with results initially declared on December 7, 2024. Following the court’s directive, the revised results are expected by late April 2025, which will also lead to the rescheduling of the counselling process for law aspirants seeking admission to five-year integrated LLB programs across NLUs.

The Delhi High Court also announced that hearings related to the CLAT PG 2025 petitions will resume soon, with further decisions awaited. Candidates are advised to regularly check the official Consortium website for updates on revised results, scorecards, and counselling schedules.

Key Points:

  • Delhi HC verdict pronounced on April 23, 2025, at 2:30 PM
  • Consortium of NLUs ordered to revise UG results and marksheets within 4 weeks
  • Certain objections accepted; late objections rejected
  • Revised results and counselling dates to be announced soon
  • CLAT PG 2025 petitions hearing to resume shortly

This judgment marks a significant step toward resolving the controversies surrounding CLAT 2025 results and ensuring a fair admission process for law aspirants nationwide
