PES University Bangalore has set the first round of the PES University Karnataka Common Entrance Test (PESU KCET) counselling for B.Tech admissions 2026 on August 16, 2026.

PES University Bangalore has set the first round of the PES University Karnataka Common Entrance Test (PESU KCET) counselling for B.Tech admissions 2026 on August 16, 2026. The counselling process will take place at the Ring Road (RR) Campus, Banashankari, Bengaluru. Only eligible candidates are allowed to attend in person, and online reporting is not permitted. Only those who have secured a PESU KCET rank between 1 and 3,500 are eligible for the first round. Candidates with ranks above 3,500 will not be considered for this session. Attendance must be confirmed through the official portal at admissions.pes.edu, under the Next Steps section. The overall B.Tech admissions cycle for 2026-27 is still ongoing. Registration started on September 5, 2025, and the last date for registration is June 30, 2026. This year, admissions are only based on JEE Main and KCET scores.

Session-Wise Reporting Schedule

The university has split candidates into two sessions based on PESU KCET rank. Each candidate must report only at the assigned session time. Late arrivals may lose their seat allocation slot.

Demand Draft Requirement by Branch

All demand drafts (DDs) must be drawn in favour of PES University, Bangalore. The DDs are collected only after a candidate accepts a seat. Unused DDs are returned to the candidate during the same visit.

Candidates upgrading from an early admissions commitment or PESU JEE seat may need extra DDs. Those surrendering an earlier PES seat must repay the full DD amount as per the official notice.

Documents to Bring on August 16

Candidates need to bring all original documents along with two self-attested photocopies of each. If any original documents are missing, the candidate may be rejected at the verification desk.

List of Required Documents:

  • PESU KCET Rank Card printed from the admissions dashboard
  • Government KCET Rank Card
  • Original Class 12 or 2nd PUC marks card
  • Original Class 10 marks card
  • Transfer Certificate or College Leaving Certificate
  • Migration Certificate (if applicable)
  • Copies of Aadhaar card and PAN card
  • Six recent passport-sized photographs

Counselling Process on the Day

The entire process takes approximately four to five hours per candidate and is divided into three main stages at the Ring Road Campus.

  1. Registration and document verification at the Golden Jubilee Block.
  2. Seat selection based on rank, followed by demand draft (DD) submission at the counter.
  3. Collection of the welcome kit and final admission confirmation.

Candidates in the Higher Fee Category are not required to submit a DD. Instead, they must bring the original fee receipt with them on the day of reporting.

  2. Check your session and reporting time based on your PESU KCET rank.
  3. Prepare demand drafts for your target branch, drawn in favour of PES University, Bangalore.
  4. Gather all original documents and two self-attested photocopies of each.
  5. Arrive at the Ring Road Campus at the time specified for your rank category.
