Panjab University has officially commenced the counselling process for admission to its prestigious three-year LLB program today, August 8, 2025. This is a pivotal moment for thousands of law aspirants who appeared in the PU-LLB Entrance Test. The counselling is being conducted for admissions to the Department of Laws, Panjab University, Chandigarh, and its affiliated regional centers in Ludhiana, Muktsar, and Hoshiarpur.
The university has released a comprehensive schedule that outlines the entire process, including document verification, seat allotment, and fee payment. Candidates who have qualified for the entrance test are now required to follow the specified procedure to secure their seats.
Counselling Schedule and Process
The counselling process for the three-year LLB program at Panjab University is conducted in an offline, physical mode. Candidates must present themselves in person at the designated venue on the dates and times specified by the university.
- Offline Counselling: The physical counselling process is scheduled to run from August 8 to August 11, 2025. Each day will be dedicated to a specific range of ranks, and candidates must attend on the date assigned to them.
- Merit List: The counselling will be based on the merit list, which was published on July 15, 2025.
- Reporting: Candidates must report to the counselling venue as per their rank and category. They will have to sign an attendance sheet to be considered for admission.

- PU-LLB Entrance Test Admit Card and Scorecard
- Class 10 and 12 mark sheets and certificates
- Graduation degree/mark sheets
- Character certificate from the institution last attended
- Reservation certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS), if applicable
- Aadhar Card or any other valid government-issued ID proof
- Recent passport-size photographs
The university has a limited number of seats for the LLB program, and the counselling will cease as soon as all available seats are filled.
