The physical counselling sessions are scheduled as follows:

3-A In-Service-Reserved:

  • Date: February 12, 2025
  • Time: 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM

3-B In-Service General:

  • Date: February 12, 2025
  • Time: 11:00 AM onwards

3-C Direct-Reserved:

  • Date: February 12, 2025
  • Time: 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM

Candidates are required to attend the counselling session corresponding to their category. The sessions will be held at the designated venues specified by DMET Odisha.

Eligibility Criteria

To participate in the counselling sessions, candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:

Residency: Must be a permanent resident of Odisha. Alternatively, candidates who have completed their MBBS from any Government Medical College in Odisha and were admitted under the 15% All India Quota are also eligible.

NEET PG Qualification: Must have qualified in the NEET PG 2024 examination, securing the qualifying marks as prescribed by the Medical Council of India (MCI) or the National Medical Commission (NMC).

Internship Completion: Must have completed one year of compulsory rotatory internship or housemanship by August 15, 2024, or as notified by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for the current year.

Registration: Must be registered with the State or Central Medical Council.

Candidates who are currently undergoing postgraduate medical courses in any subject and wish to take fresh admission must comply with the terms and conditions of the bond and deposit the appropriate monetary penalty at the time of admission.

Important Considerations

Document Verification: Candidates must bring all necessary documents for verification during the counselling process. This includes NEET PG 2024 rank cards, state admission letters, and other relevant certificates.

Reporting Time: It is imperative for candidates to adhere to the reporting times specified for their respective categories to ensure a smooth counselling process.

Seat Matrix: The provisional seat matrix for Round 3 was published on January 31, 2025. Candidates should review the seat matrix to understand the availability of seats in various institutions.
