NIFT Stage 2 Admit Card 2025 to Be Released Soon – All You Need to Know

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is all set to release the NIFT Stage 2 Admit Card 2025 in the coming days on its official website – exams.nta.ac.in/NIFT. This is a crucial step for all candidates who have successfully cleared the NIFTEE Stage 1 examination, as the Admit Card is mandatory to appear for Stage 2 of the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) admissions process.

The NIFT Stage 2 examination evaluates candidates based on the program they have applied for, comprising components like the Situation Test, Studio Test, and Personal Interview. While UG aspirants (B.Des and B.F.Tech) will undergo a combination of these tests on June 8, 2025, PG aspirants (M.Des, M.F.M., M.F.Tech) will face Personal Interviews starting May 26, 2025.

Admit Card Availability and Download Instructions

Candidates who cleared Stage 1 will be able to download their Stage 2 Admit Cards once the link is activated on the official portal. To download the Admit Card:

Visit the official NTA website – exams.nta.ac.in/NIFT

Click on the “NIFT Stage 2 Admit Card 2025” link

Log in using your application number and date of birth

View and download your Admit Card

Print the document for use on exam day

The Admit Card will contain key information such as the candidate’s name, application number, exam date and time, venue details, reporting time, and important instructions. Along with the Admit Card, candidates are required to bring a valid government-issued photo ID to the examination centre.

What’s Included in Stage 2?

Depending on the program, the second stage of the NIFT selection process includes:

UG Programs (B.Des, B.F.Tech):

Situation Test – assesses practical and creative skills

Studio Test – evaluates material handling and problem-solving abilities

Personal Interview – judges communication skills and subject awareness

PG Programs (M.Des, M.F.M., M.F.Tech):

Personal Interview only

Each of these components plays a critical role in determining a candidate's overall merit for admission.

NIFT Stage 2 Schedule and Campus Details

Stage 2 Exam for UG: June 8, 2025

Stage 2 Interviews for PG: Begin May 26, 2025

Mode: Offline (in designated test centres)

As per the latest update, NIFT has 19 campuses across India. During counselling, candidates will be able to choose from these based on their performance, preference, and seat availability.

Data Preservation & Validity of Scores

As per NTA’s official weeding-out policy, the records of NIFT Entrance Exam 2025 will be preserved only for 90 days from the declaration of results. Furthermore, NIFT scores are valid only for the academic year 2025-26, making it essential for candidates to complete the entire admission process within the same cycle.

Final Note

Candidates are advised to stay regularly updated via the official website to avoid missing out on crucial notifications. The Admit Card is not just an entry ticket but also serves as an official document that ensures a smooth and authenticated examination process.

For the most accurate information and timely updates on exam schedules, counselling, and admission processes, keep checking the NTA and NIFT official portals.
