The choice filling process was originally scheduled to begin on August 6, but the MCC postponed it by two days through a revised notification. Only candidates who have successfully completed Round 1 registration are eligible to fill their choices. They can select their preferred medical, dental, and nursing colleges. The choice filling window will remain open until 11:00 AM on August 13, 2026. Candidates must lock their final choices within the prescribed schedule. The choice locking facility will be available from 4:00 PM on August 12, 2026, to 11:00 AM on August 13, 2026. If candidates fail to lock their choices before the deadline, the system will automatically lock the last saved preferences. Round 1 counselling covers 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats along with admissions to AIIMS, JIPMER, ESIC Medical Colleges, Central Universities, Deemed Universities, and AFMC Pune.

4. Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) Medical Colleges.

6. Deemed Universities offering MBBS, BDS, and B.Sc. Nursing programmes.
