NEET PG 2024 Round 3 Counselling Registration Deadline Extended

The NEET PG 2024 Round 3 counselling registration deadline was deferred until January 15, 2025, while finalization of filling of choices was extended up to January 16. It aims to help candidates to complete the process of registration and secure the best seats in postgraduate medical education facilities.

Among the concerns about the date of registering for the third round for NEET PG 2024 counseling, the notification from the Medical Council Committee (MCC) states that this is the position; from a prior date, the extension of time for writing the counseling is 11:55 PM on January 15, 2025. All postgraduates completing the registration process may become part of a unification process in counseling before the cut-off provision to be seen as part and parcel of it.

Revised Schedule 

  • End of Registration: January 15, 2025 11:55 PM  
  • Choice Filling Deadline: January 16, 2025. 11:55 PM  
  • Choice Locking: January 16, 2025 3:00 PM to 11:55 PM.  
  • Processing of Seat Allotment: January 17-18, 2025.  
  • Announcement of Round 3 result- January 19, 2025.  
  • Reporting to Allotted Colleges: January 20-25, 2025.  

Steps for Registration and Choice Filling

Candidates will be required to register themselves at mci.nic.in in order to move on with the following steps:  

  1. Log in using your credentials and fill the personal details and academics.  
  2. Choice Filling: Select your preferences based on the vacancies available.  
  3. Choice Locking: Your assignments are final for allotment purposes only when you wish to change them.  

Who all can Participate?

  • Those who have not been allotted seats in the previous rounds.  
  • Candidates who have not already participated in the last rounds.  
  • Candidates up-ranking for a better seat.
