It is crucial for candidates to review their selections before locking them in, as any unconfirmed choices will be automatically locked after the deadline.

Importance of Choice Filling

The choice filling process is critical as it directly influences the seat allocation for postgraduate medical programs. Candidates should prioritize their preferences carefully, as this will determine their placement in various medical colleges across India. The MCC has indicated that a significant number of seats are available this year, with over 70,000 postgraduate seats across various disciplines.

Next Steps After Allotment

Once the results are announced on November 20, candidates who are allotted seats must report to their respective colleges between November 21 and November 27. Institutions will then verify the data of joined candidates from November 28 to November 29.This year's NEET PG counselling is particularly noteworthy due to a substantial increase in available seats since previous years, reflecting ongoing efforts to expand medical education in India. Candidates are encouraged to stay updated through the official MCC portal for any changes or additional information regarding the counselling process.
