The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued the official dress code for NEET 2025 candidates. These guidelines aim to ensure fairness and security during the exam while preventing the use of any unfair means. Aspirants must strictly adhere to the prescribed clothing and accessory rules to avoid last-minute issues at the examination center.

Dress Code Guidelines for NEET 2025

Male Candidates:

Wear light-colored half-sleeved shirts/t-shirts without large buttons or embroidery.

Avoid full-sleeved clothing, jeans with multiple pockets, and layered outfits.

Footwear must be simple sandals or slippers (closed shoes are prohibited).

Accessories like watches, bracelets, or any metallic items are not allowed.

Female Candidates:

Prefer light-colored clothes with half-sleeves (full sleeves are not allowed).

Avoid fancy outfits, heavy embroidery, and metal-containing clothing.

Wear simple sandals or slippers (high heels and closed shoes are restricted).

Jewelry, including earrings, rings, nose pins, and bangles, must not be worn.

Special Guidelines for Religious and Cultural Attire

Candidates who wear religious attire (such as hijabs, turbans, or kara) must report to the exam center earlier for thorough verification.

It is advisable to carry a self-declaration form regarding special attire requirements.

Any additional layers of clothing may be checked by female and male invigilators separately.

Conclusion

The NEET 2025 dress code is mandatory for all candidates, ensuring a smooth and transparent examination process. Aspirants are advised to follow the guidelines carefully to avoid last-minute inconvenience. Arriving early at the exam center and complying with NTA’s regulations will help ensure a hassle-free exam experience.
