What Are the Two Ways to Verify Documents?

MahaCET gives candidates two choices for document verification. Both options are acceptable and can be used for participating in the CAP. Candidates should select the method that is most convenient for them. E-Scrutiny Mode: In this mode, candidates upload their scanned documents online. The verification process happens remotely, and there is no need to go to a physical center. Physical Scrutiny Mode: Here, candidates must go to a designated center with their original documents. The verification is done in person during a scheduled time. Candidates who notice any mistakes after completing e-Scrutiny can make corrections by uploading them again online. For those using physical scrutiny, they need to bring all original certificates with them.

How to Complete the MHT CET MTech CAP 2026 Registration?

Candidates who haven't registered yet should do so before the 5 PM deadline on July 21, 2026. The registration is done entirely through the official CAP portal. Follow these steps to complete your application on time.

  1. Visit the official website at me2026.mahacet.org.
  2. Click on the new registration link on the homepage.
  3. Fill in your personal, academic, and entrance exam score details.
  4. Upload the required scanned documents in the correct format.
  5. Pay the processing fee online.
  6. Choose between e-scrutiny and physical scrutiny for document verification.
  7. Confirm your application and save the acknowledgment slip.

How to Raise a Grievance About the Provisional Merit List?

The window for raising grievances opens on July 25 and closes on July 27, 2026. Candidates who find errors in their provisional ranking must act within this period. They can submit their grievance through the candidate login or at scrutiny centers. MahaCET has also mentioned that the schedule might change due to unforeseen circumstances. Candidates should check the portal regularly for any updates.
