Assam NEET PG 2026 Round 1 Counselling: Registration From 21 October, Reporting 9 and 10 November

The Directorate of Medical Education (DME) Assam has announced the Round 1 counselling schedule for NEET PG 2026 State Quota seats. Registration runs from 21 to 25 October 2026 for eligible candidates listed in the provisional merit list. Choice filling follows on 26 to 28 October, and reporting for admission is on 9 and 10 November.

Who Can Register
Only eligible State Quota candidates listed in the provisional merit list can register. DME Assam has published that list as the provisional merit list of NEET-PG 2026 for Assam State Quota seats, after inclusion of incentive marks.
Registration Closing Time: Check Before You Register
The registration closing time differs between the notice text and the schedule table. Candidates should register early and check the official notice or contact DME Assam for clarification.
What Happens Next
After choice filling and locking, the provisional allotment is available to view on 1 November. The reviewed selection list and admission instructions follow on 2 November. Allotted candidates report and join on 9 and 10 November.
State Quota counselling is separate from MCC's All India Quota counselling.
