- Provisional Merit List: The provisional merit list was released on August 9, 2025, and the final merit list was released on August 13, 2025.
- CAP Round 2 Allotment: The provisional allotment for CAP Round 2 was announced on August 11, 2025. Candidates had until August 14, 2025, to accept the seat and report to their allotted institute.
- CAP Round 3:
- Provisional Vacant Seats Display: The list of vacant seats for Round 3 was published on August 16, 2025.
- Online Option Entry: The window for submitting choices for CAP Round 3 is from August 17 to August 19, 2025.

Understanding the Centralized Allotment Process (CAP)
The CAP is the primary method for MHT CET B.Arch admissions. It consists of multiple rounds, including the institute-level rounds. The seat allotment is based on the candidates' rank in the final merit list and the choices they fill during the option entry period.
Key stages of the counselling process include:
- Registration: Candidates register online and upload necessary documents.
- Document Verification: Documents are verified at designated Facilitation Centres (FCs).
- Merit List: A provisional merit list is released, and candidates can raise grievances. After addressing these, the final merit list is published.
- Choice Filling: Candidates submit their preferences for colleges and courses. Fresh choices can be filled for each round.
- Seat Allotment: Seats are allotted based on merit and filled choices.
- Seat Acceptance: Once a seat is allotted, candidates must decide whether to "Freeze," "Float," or "Slide."
- Freeze: The candidate is satisfied with the allotted seat and does not wish to participate in subsequent rounds.
- Float/Slide: The candidate has accepted the seat but is open to getting a better-preferred seat in a subsequent round. If a better seat is allotted, the previous one is automatically canceled. If not, the current seat is retained.
- Reporting: Candidates who have accepted a seat must report to the Admission Reporting Centre (ARC) to confirm their admission by submitting documents and paying the required fees.
