The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell, Maharashtra, has officially released the MHT CET 2026 City Intimation Slip today, April 1, 2026. Engineering and Pharmacy aspirants can now log in to the official portal, cetcell.mahacet.org, to check the city assigned for their entrance examination.

This document is a preliminary notification to help students plan their travel and accommodation. It precedes the release of the formal MHT CET 2026 Admit Card, which will contain the specific venue address, building name, and shift timings.

Important Note for Aspirants
- Not a Hall Ticket: The city slip cannot be used to enter the examination hall. You must download the actual Admit Card when it is released later this month.
- No Change of City: The CET Cell generally does not entertain requests for changing the allotted exam city. The allocation is based on the preferences submitted during the registration process.
Preparation Strategy: The Final Push
With the PCB exams starting in three weeks and PCM in one month, high school students should focus on the following:
- Class 11 Weightage: Remember that 20% of the questions come from the Class 11 Maharashtra State Board syllabus, while 80% are from Class 12.
- No Negative Marking: MHT CET does not penalize for wrong answers. Practice managing your time to ensure all 150 questions (for PCM) or 200 questions (for PCB) are attempted.
- Difficulty Level: Mathematics is typically on par with JEE Main (Easy to Moderate), while Physics and Chemistry follow the state textbook closely.
