MH CET Law 2026: 3-Year LLB Form Correction Window Opens Today; Here is How to Edit Your Application

The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, has officially activated the application form correction window for the MH CET Law 2026 (3-Year LLB) today, March 9, 2026. This facility is a vital opportunity for law aspirants who have already submitted their registration forms but identified errors in their personal or academic details. The edit window will remain open for a very brief period, concluding on March 11, 2026.

As the legal profession demands precision, this correction phase ensures that your hall ticket and subsequent merit rankings are based on accurate data. Candidates who fail to rectify errors now may face significant hurdles during the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) or document verification rounds at their allotted law colleges.

Editable Fields and Restrictions

While the CET Cell provides this edit facility, it is important to note that not all information can be modified. The correction window is designed to fix primary identifying details that are crucial for the conduct of the exam.

What you CAN edit:

• Candidate’s Name: Correcting spelling mistakes or the order of names as per official documents.
• Date of Birth: Ensuring alignment with your 10th or 12th-grade certificates.
• Photograph and Signature: Re-uploading files if they were blurry, incorrect, or did not meet the size specifications.
• Gender: Adjusting the selection if a mistake was made during initial entry.

What you CANNOT edit:

Exam Dates and Competition Landscape

The MH CET Law 3-Year LLB exam is one of the most sought-after entrance tests for graduates looking to enter the legal field. While the registration for the 5-year integrated LLB usually follows a different timeline, the 3-year program attracts a diverse range of UG and PG students.

The entrance test is a Computer-Based Test (CBT) consisting of 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) covering Legal Aptitude, General Knowledge, Logical Reasoning, and English. With no negative marking, the competition is purely a race of accuracy and time management. The state cell is expected to release the admit cards roughly 10 days before the scheduled exam date, which typically falls in the latter half of March or early April.

Final Reminder for Legal Aspirants

Submitting a form with an incorrect name or date of birth can lead to a mismatch with your identity proof at the exam center, potentially resulting in disqualification. Therefore, use this window to ensure every detail is "legally sound."

If you are looking to choose between top law schools like GLC Mumbai or ILS Pune, having a clear and error-free application is the first step toward a successful admission.
