Admission Process

After the MET 2026 results are declared, MAHE will release a rank list based on candidates’ scores. All shortlisted candidates must register for counselling by paying the counselling fee. During this process, they will be asked to fill and lock their course and campus preferences. Seat allotment will then take place based on merit, rank, preferences, and seat availability. Once a seat is allotted, candidates must pay the admission fee and report to the allotted institute for document verification. Documents such as admit card, mark sheets, identity proof, and fee receipts must be presented. Only after successful verification will final admission be granted. If any seats remain vacant, additional mop-up or spot rounds will be conducted.

Final Word

With the MET 2026 registration window now open, aspirants aiming for admission into Manipal University’s BTech and MTech programs should act promptly. Early application not only secures a timely slot for the exam but also avoids last-minute technical or payment issues.

Since MAHE generally does not provide a correction window, applicants must double-check every detail entered in the application form, including academic records, personal details, and uploaded documents, before final submission. Any errors left uncorrected may impact eligibility during later stages such as counselling or document verification.

Candidates are strongly advised to keep a close watch on the official portal – apply.manipal.edu – for all updates regarding exam dates, slot booking, admit cards, and counselling schedules. Staying updated and well-prepared will ensure a smoother admission journey into one of India’s leading private universities.
