MAT December 2024 Registration Now Open: Key Dates and Details

The registration for the December 2024 session of the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is underway at the AIMA MAT website, with exams scheduled in CBT and PBT modes. Candidates can register until November 30 for CBT 1 and December 15 for CBT 2, with exam dates set for December 7, 14, and 22, 2024.

The registration process for the December 2024 session of the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is currently ongoing at the official AIMA MAT website. Conducted by the All India Management Association (AIMA), MAT is a crucial entrance exam for admission into MBA and PGDM programs across over 800 business schools in India.

Exam Modes and Schedule

For the December 2024 session, MAT will be conducted in two formats: Computer-Based Test (CBT) and Paper-Based Test (PBT). Notably, this session will not include the Internet-Based Test (IBT) format, marking a return to traditional testing methods.

Important Dates:

  • CBT 1: December 7, 2024
  • PBT: December 14, 2024
  • CBT 2: December 22, 2024

Candidates must register for their preferred exam mode before the deadlines to ensure their participation.

Registration Process

The registration window for the MAT December 2024 session opened on September 7, 2024, and will remain open until November 30, 2024, for CBT 1 and until December 15, 2024, for CBT 2. Interested candidates can complete their registrations online at mat.aima.in.

Registration Fees:

  • For one MAT exam: ₹2,100
  • For two MAT exams: ₹3,600

Candidates are encouraged to register early to avoid last-minute issues.

Exam Structure

The MAT exam consists of five sections:

  1. Intelligence and Critical Reasoning
  2. Language Comprehension
  3. Mathematical Skills
  4. Data Analysis and Sufficiency
  5. Economic & Business Environment

This year, the total number of questions has been reduced from 200 to 150, with a total duration of 120 minutes for the exam.

Admit Card and Results

Admit cards will be released shortly before each exam date. Candidates can download their hall tickets from the official website using their registration credentials. Results are typically announced within a month after each exam session.
