The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, has set today, August 19, 2025, as the final day for design aspirants to complete the seat acceptance and physical reporting process for the MAH B.Des Centralized Admission Process (CAP) Round 3. This is a critical deadline for all candidates who received an allotment in this round. Failing to act today will result in forfeiture of the seat.

The seat allotment for Round 3 was released on August 14, and candidates have been in the process of paying fees and reporting to their respective institutes from August 17 to today.

What Aspirants Must Do Today

Candidates who are satisfied with their seat allotment and wish to confirm their admission must complete the following steps by the 3 PM deadline today:

  1. Online Seat Acceptance: Log in to the official portal bdesigncap2025.mahacet.org and accept your seat. This will involve paying the seat acceptance fee, which is a portion of the first-year tuition.
  2. Physical Reporting: After accepting the seat online, it is mandatory to physically report to the allotted institute to verify all documents and complete the admission formalities. Without this step, the seat will not be confirmed.

What’s Next: The Final Round and Vacancy List

The conclusion of CAP Round 3 means the Centralized Admission Process is nearing its final stage. For candidates who have not yet secured a seat or are looking for better options, the provisional vacancy list for the final CAP Round 4 will be released tomorrow, August 20, 2025.

This upcoming round will be the final opportunity for aspirants to compete for any remaining seats in top colleges. Those participating in Round 4 will have a chance to fill out their new option forms based on the newly released vacancy list.
