Step-by-Step Guide to Exam Slot Booking

The slot booking process is entirely online and operates on a first-come, first-served basis. If a candidate fails to book their preferred time manually, the university may automatically assign a slot based on the preferences indicated in the initial application form. Early booking is highly recommended to secure the most convenient time and mode.

• Portal Access: Log in to the official LPUADMIT portal using your registered email and password.
• Mode Selection: Choose between the "Test Centre Based" or the "Remotely Proctored" online exam from home.
• City and Date: Select your preferred test city (for center-based) and then pick a date and time from the available calendar.
• Admit Card: Once the slot is confirmed, the admit card is generated instantly; download and print it for the exam day.

Eligibility and Exam Pattern for Engineering

Understanding the exam structure is vital for effective preparation. The LPUNEST for B.Tech is a 150-minute computer-based test comprising 100 multiple-choice questions. A major advantage for aspirants is the absence of negative marking, encouraging students to attempt the full paper with confidence.

• Eligibility: 10+2 with a minimum of 60% aggregate in Physics, Mathematics, and English.
• Subject Sections: The paper includes Physics (25), Chemistry (25), Mathematics/Biology (25), and English (25).
• Marking Scheme: Each correct answer awards 4 marks, with a total score of 400.
• Scholarship Benefit: Top scorers can avail up to a 100% tuition fee waiver, significantly reducing the cost of professional education.

In conclusion, the opening of the LPUNEST 2026 slot booking marks the start of a critical period for engineering hopefuls. By securing a slot early and understanding the nuances of the exam pattern, candidates can focus entirely on their preparation.
