LPUNEST 2026 Phase 1 Underway; Slot Booking Activity Gains Momentum

The race for admission into top-tier engineering programs has officially intensified. Lovely Professional University (LPU) has confirmed that the LPUNEST 2026 Phase 1 application window is in full swing, with the crucial Slot Booking activity showing significant momentum. As of December 16, 2025, aspirants who have completed their initial registration are strongly encouraged to immediately secure their preferred slot for the entrance and scholarship examination. This early action is vital not only to guarantee a suitable test schedule but also to maximize the potential scholarship benefits, which are often weighted towards initial phases.

Key Phase 1 Deadlines and Exam Modes

Securing your slot on a first-come, first-served basis is paramount. The LPUNEST 2026 is a mandatory test for B.Tech admission and the primary gateway to merit-based scholarships at LPU. Candidates must complete both their registration and slot booking before the deadline.

• Registration Last Date: January 15, 2026
• Slot Booking Window: December 10, 2025, to January 15, 2026
• LPUNEST Exam Dates:
  • Remote Proctored Online Exam: January 10 to February 5, 2026
  • Test Centre-Based Exam: January 20 to February 5, 2026

Candidates must select between the two modes—online from home (using two devices: a primary desktop/laptop and a secondary smartphone) or at a designated test center—during the slot booking process.

The Dual Advantage: Admission and Scholarship

LPUNEST's dual function makes Phase 1 participation a critical strategic move for serious engineering aspirants. High scores in the entrance test translate directly into substantial financial relief.

• Merit-based Scholarship: The LPUNEST score determines the scholarship bracket, potentially offering up to a 100% waiver on the tuition fee.
• Higher Scholarship Brackets: Aspirants who appear in Phase 1 generally qualify for the highest scholarship slabs, given their early commitment and strong performance.
• Admission Security: Early qualification and admission confirmation reduce post-board exam stress, securing a seat well ahead of the final rush.

Step-by-Step Slot Booking Guide

The slot booking process is simple but mandatory. Without a confirmed slot, candidates will not be issued an admit card to appear for the exam.

• Log in to the official LPUADMIT portal using your registered credentials.
• Click on the "Book Slot" option.
• Choose your preferred Exam Mode (Remote Proctored or Test Centre).
• Select your desired Date and Time Slot from the available options. The system operates in real-time.
• Confirm and submit your selection to generate the Admit Card.

Conclusion: Don't Miss the January 15 Deadline

The LPUNEST 2026 Phase 1 presents an unmissable chance for B.Tech aspirants to kickstart their engineering journey with a significant competitive advantage and scholarship opportunity. The window for this crucial phase is open for a limited time, with the final date for both application submission and slot booking set for January 15, 2026. Given that slots are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, any delay could mean missing out on your preferred exam schedule or, more importantly, the chance to qualify for the maximum scholarship. All registered engineering aspirants must visit the official LPUNEST portal immediately to book their exam slot and download their admit card to confirm their participation.
