Lovely Professional University (LPU) Admissions & LPUNEST Scholarship Window Closes Today

For thousands of aspiring students seeking quality higher education, particularly in engineering and other diverse fields, today, July 31, 2025, marks the final deadline for admissions and the last chance to avail significant scholarships at Lovely Professional University (LPU) for the ongoing academic session. The university has announced the closure of its Phase 6 (or current schedule) admissions and the associated LPUNEST scholarship window by the end of the day.

LPU, one of India's largest private universities, offers a wide array of undergraduate and postgraduate programs, including popular choices like B.Tech, MBA, Law, Pharmacy, Agriculture, Design, and many more. Admission to many of these programs is facilitated through the LPU National Entrance and Scholarship Test (LPUNEST), which serves a dual purpose: it acts as a mandatory entrance examination and is the primary mechanism for awarding merit-based scholarships.

Critical Deadlines for July 31, 2025:

• Last Date to Apply and Book Slot for LPUNEST: Today is the final day to complete the online application for admission to LPU and to book a slot for the LPUNEST examination under the current admission phase.
• Last Date for Admission: For candidates who have already appeared for LPUNEST or are exempted (e.g., through JEE Main scores for B.Tech), today is the last day to complete all admission formalities and secure their seat.
• LPUNEST Scholarship Window Closure: Crucially, today is also the last day to apply and avail scholarships based on LPUNEST performance for this particular admission phase. Subsequent phases, if any, may have revised scholarship criteria or reduced opportunities.

Understanding LPUNEST and Scholarship Opportunities:

LPUNEST is a comprehensive online entrance test designed to assess a candidate's aptitude and knowledge relevant to their chosen program. Beyond being an admission prerequisite for many courses, a strong performance in LPUNEST can lead to substantial financial aid. LPU offers scholarships in various tiers, with higher scores in LPUNEST translating into a greater percentage of fee waiver. This initiative aims to support deserving students in their pursuit of higher education.

For B.Tech programs, for instance, candidates may also be eligible for scholarships based on their JEE Main scores or their performance in Class 12th board examinations, subject to specific criteria outlined by the university.

How to Secure Admission Today:

1. Visit the Official Portal: Aspirants must log on to LPU's official admission portal: admission.lpu.in or nest.lpu.in.
2. Complete Application: Fill out the online application form with accurate personal, academic, and contact details.
3. Pay Application Fee: Submit the requisite application fee online.
4. Book LPUNEST Slot (if applicable): If LPUNEST is required for your chosen program and you haven't taken it, book your exam slot immediately. The exam itself can be taken as a remote-proctored online test, offering flexibility.
5. Complete Admission Formalities: For those who have already appeared for LPUNEST or whose results are out, ensure all remaining admission steps, including provisional fee payment and document submission, are completed.

LPU encourages prospective students to act swiftly, as the university's phases of admission conclude on specific dates, and delaying the application might lead to missing out on desired programs or the best scholarship benefits.
