The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has activated the reservation category declaration link for WBJEE 2025 aspirants on its official website, wbjeeb.nic.in. Deadline: The last date to complete the category updation process is August 21, 2025, at 11:59 PM. After this, no requests for updates will be accepted.
Reason for the Delay: The WBJEE 2025 result has been postponed multiple times due to legal proceedings. The Calcutta High Court recently directed the WBJEEB to prepare a fresh merit list with a 7% reservation for 66 classes of OBC under the old policy. The court had given the board until August 22, 2025, to publish the new merit list.
Result Expectation: With the reservation category declaration process nearing its end, students can expect the WBJEE 2025 results to be released very soon, likely within the next few days, as the board works to meet the court-mandated deadline.
