KEAM 2025: Stray Vacancy Counselling Concludes, Final Admissions Underway

For thousands of engineering aspirants who took the Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical (KEAM) entrance exam, the final chapter of the admission process is now underway. The stray vacancy counselling for KEAM 2025, a last-ditch effort by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala, to fill remaining seats in various engineering colleges, officially concluded its registration period on August 22, 2025. This phase has been a crucial opportunity for candidates who missed earlier rounds or were seeking to upgrade their seats in their preferred institutions.

The stray vacancy counselling aimed to efficiently allocate seats based on the revised KEAM rank list, which was published on July 10, 2025. This step marks the final significant activity in the centralized allotment process. With the registration and choice filling period now closed, aspirants should focus on the next critical steps to finalize their admission and secure their B.Tech dreams.

Essential Next Steps for Allotted Candidates

While the official allotment details for the stray round are awaited, candidates who have secured seats should begin their preparations immediately. The next phase involves a meticulous document submission process at the respective colleges. Missing any of these documents can lead to the cancellation of your hard-earned admission.

For aspiring engineers, this process is an important final checkpoint. Candidates must prepare both original documents and a set of self-attested photocopies. The most important documents to have ready include:

• KEAM 2025 Hall Ticket: The ticket you used to write the entrance exam.
• KEAM 2025 Scorecard: The result slip containing your marks and rank.
• Proof of Fee Payment: A receipt or proof of payment for any counselling fees paid.
• Date of Birth Certificate: An official document like your Class 10th mark sheet.
• Class 12th Marksheets: Documents proving your eligibility based on marks.
• Category/Caste Certificates: If you have applied under any reservation.
• Passport-size Photographs: A few recent photographs for college records.

It is highly recommended for candidates to visit their allotted college's official website or contact their admissions office for a precise list of required documents and the specific dates for physical reporting. Timely submission is paramount to a smooth admission process.
